Rosemary’s Baby (1967) by Ira Levin ⭐⭐⭐⭐

I read the e-book of Rosemary’s baby when a friend mentioned she was reading it. It had been on my list for a long time, but I kind of forgot about it until now. I can’t really do much except praise this book. I enjoyed it from the beginning to end!
Rosemary and Guy move into an apartment with a bad reputation of being a harbor for witches and black magic rituals. Terrible things have historically happened here, including suicides and cannibalism.
Despite the warnings, Guy and Rosemary move in, and soon become friends with the neighbors.
All Rosemary wants in life at the moment is to have a baby. This is when the neighbors start taking a special interest in Rosemary……
This is a psychological horror book that is a must-read. It was adapted into a movie in 1968. It is a beautiful movie, and was just as enjoyable to watch as it was to read the book. Something cool about the movie is that the dialogue is basically word-for-word, something pretty rare when books are made into movies.
