I read an ebook version of The Prom Queen for a book club. It is the 15th entry in R. L. Stine’s teen series Fear Street.
There is a film version of this that came out this year (2025) but I have not yet seen it.
Someone is murdering the girls at Shadyside High! Lizzie will be next if she doesn’t solve the grizzly mystery in time!
This book was good as a surface thriller, but don’t look too deep into it unless you want to be asking a million questions that won’t be answered. I liked how it isn’t scared to get bloody, but Fear Street books never are. Overall, I enjoyed it.
Just read it if you like books from this age group!
