Read Time:30 Second
I Saw A Trembling In the World
I saw a trembling in the world,
A trembling deep and heavy,
So heavy, it shook the earth
—and roared
I could hardly keep steady.
And within this trembling,
I heard a ripple,
A ripple sweet and light,
Like crystal water dripping, dripping,
Far into the night.
Looking down off this phenomena,
I saw—and was stricken,
With the feeling that it was me,
All along—I was astounded.
I saw a trembling in the world,
This time I knew what to do,
I stopped it with a finger,
Silence, for it was gone.

A most mysterious and interesting verse… And I like the concrete imagery.
Thank you! The wonderful poets and authors of Twitter have been inspiring me to write as of late. 🙂
