I Told You So, from Aunt Kitty’s Storybook! 😀
Once upon a time, there were two boy cats named Freddy and Derpy. Freddy was a gray and white Maine Coon that the little girl Bella called ‘baby bobcat’. Derpy looked like a medium-haired Siamese. Freddy was only one year old, and, therefore, a baby cat. Derpy was around four years old, a much older and wiser cat.
Derpy was fat. Freddy told him so any chance he got. Wasn’t that mean?
Freddy always got into trouble. Derpy remembered always getting into trouble, when he was a younger, not as wise cat. “Don’t do dat!” Derpy would warn Freddy. “Da humans will not like it!” But Freddy would do it anyway.
One day, Derpy was doing just that. Freddy was in the kitchen window over the sink again.
“Freddy! GET DOWN!” yelled the female human. Freddy was stupid, and did not know what she meant. She got a little closer. Freddy understood then. He jumped off.
“I told you so!” Derpy meowed. The human thought Derpy was talking to her.
“Hi, Kitty!” she said in a baby voice that Derpy loathed. She’s gonna pick me up, she’s gonna pick me up! No! He thought as he tried to get away, but was caught. The human snuggled in his fur, talked more baby talk, and finally put him down. That was the last time he said I told you so, because no one likes I told you so.
