Once upon a time there was a lady who was still a child at heart, although she was really over thirty. But we often feel much younger than our physical age when we stay in touch with our inner selves, don’t we?
Every summer, especially in August, this grown up child at heart would sometimes sit up at night to listen to the froggies croaking outside in her back yard.
“Nya! Nya!” they’d say. Some thought they may be putting on a play about 1930s gangsters, but the lady knew the truth. The froggies were having their annual summer meeting.
‘The Frog King is holding court again,’ the child at heart lady thought. ‘I wonder if my invitation got lost in the mail,’ her thoughts trailed on. She then realized something!
The fact that she could hear the Royal Froggy Meeting meant that she had not been left out after all!
With this, we close our story. Happiness comes from within. The key to happiness is to never forget where you came from and to be grateful for your blessings in every moment.
